Atphoto Terms and Conditions

All orders are accepted and executed on the understanding that the purchaser is bound by the following General Conditions of Sale. Where there is any inconsistency between these General Conditions of Sale and any conditions which the Purchaser seeks to impose these General Conditions of Sale shall prevail.

Quotation and prices
a) A quotation will remain open for acceptance for a period of 14 days from the date of quotation.
b) All quoted prices are inclusive of Value Added Tax, unless specifically stated to the contrary.
c) A quotation signed by the Purchaser and returned to AtPhoto (whether by hand, post, fax or email) constitutes an order to proceed with the manufacture and or supply of the quoted item(s) based on the dimensions provided in the quotation.

Artwork supplied
AtPhoto cannot guarantee the final outcome of a print. You need to make sure that the art you supply is not of inferior quality and must be suitable for a print size required by you. We will do our best to give you a quality finish but we cannot be held responsible for the end product if your supplied artwork is of a poor quality. It is your responsibility to ensure that all colours, sizes and cropping areas are indicated and where necessary corrected. AtPhoto will print exactly as supplied by you unless otherwise requested.

Right to refuse
AtPhoto holds the right to refuse any work. Reasons may be if the artwork is deemed of very low quality or in contradiction with our business morals and principles. This may include but is not limited to: poor artwork, immoral or illegal materials. We have the right to refuse registration as a professional should you not qualify as a professional according to registration criteria required on the registration form.

By supplying us with artwork, you warrant that you have the copyright or licence for the image/artwork or written permission from the copyright owner to print it. Under no circumstances will AtPhoto be responsible for any copyright issues arising as a result of you supplying us with any image or artwork in breach of copyright.

At AtPhoto, we do our best to stock most advertised materials at all times. We do however reserve the right to substitute materials when need be.

At AtPhoto, our prices are competitive. However, we reserve the right to change these without prior notice.

AtPhoto does not operate a credit facility. All orders of products need to be paid for upfront. Professionals may apply for an account which AtPhoto reserves the right to refuse without explanation.

The work
AtPhoto will do all the work in-house wherever possible. However, we reserve the right to outsource work if we deem it suitable or necessary.

AtPhoto cannot cancel works which have been initiated and paid for. Cancelled orders carry a 10% cancellation fee.

The completed work
At AtPhoto, we will do our best to give you a product as close to your request as possible. However, under no circumstances will AtPhoto be responsible for colour-matching. Our discretion is final.

We will do our best to deliver your products in the quickest possible time. AtPhoto does not have any control over any courier companies. Deliveries could be delayed due to various reasons. In these
instances, AtPhoto will not be liable for any consequential loss. Please ensure that you CHECK your delivery before signing for it. AtPhoto will not accept liability for missing or damaged items unless
this is brought to the attention of the delivery company. Please do not sign for your goods until you have physically checked them and are satisfied that they are in perfect condition.

Loss or damage
AtPhoto will not be responsible for any loss or damage to your product when couriered. There is a rising trend of hijackers targeting the courier industry. Please note that insurance is required to cover the loss of parcels in such cases. Insurance must be ticked and a value declared.

Please note we use a 3rd party courier and cannot be help responsible for delays caused by them. Please also note that we cannot be held responsible for any damaged caused to the package by the third party. Please take insurance on your package to ensure that you are covered if any damage is caused to your package by the courier.  

Any discrepancies in the final work delivered to you must be reported to AtPhoto within 24 hours of receipt.

End product
AtPhoto cannot guarantee that the final size will be exactly the size requested.

Vouchers purchased through AtPhoto need to be activated by the legal AtPhoto representative before they may be redeemed against any orders.
Please note that vouchers become invalid once they have been redeemed in full, and once they have reached their expiry date. Any unused credits will not be refunded in this regard.

AtPhoto offers a 1 year guarantee on Stretched Canvas Prints and a lifetime guarantee on layflat albums. The product is guaranteed against any manufacturing defects. This excludes problems
arising due to:

  • poor quality artwork
  • fading whereby the product has been left in direct sunlight
  • change of shape due to exposure to moisture or fluctuating temperatures
  • any exposure that affects the products whether natural and/or chemical.

We will not reprint orders damaged or lost by the courier.
We reserve the right to have you return the original order, at your cost, before reprinting your order. The guarantee is limited to the reprinting of the original order quantity with the original artwork. We are not responsible for any damages or claims incurred by you or your business caused by receiving printed materials which are defective or incomplete or which you receive later than the estimated delivery date.

a) AtPhoto will make good, by repair or at AtPhoto’s sole option, by the supply of replacements, any defects which, under proper use, appear in the goods within 12 months of collection or delivery and which arise solely from faulty design (other than any design made, furnished or specified by the Purchaser for which AtPhoto has disclaimed responsibility), materials or workmanship, provided that:
(i) The goods concerned have been stored and used in a proper manner; and
(ii) the Purchaser has notified AtPhoto of the nature of the defect within 7 days of becoming aware of the defect; and
(iii) the goods have been returned to AtPhoto, carriage paid and adequately packed.
b) Goods returned as defective but found on inspection to be in good order will be returned to the Purchaser subject to a handling charge.
c)Goods returned, which are out of guarantee or which were damaged due to incorrect usage, will be scrapped by AtPhoto unless the Purchaser shall have given AtPhoto specific disposal instructions in writing.
d) The Purchaser shall notify AtPhoto in writing of the nature of the defect and any tests the Purchaser may require AtPhoto to perform in respect of the goods prior to their return to AtPhoto.
e) Save as aforesaid and as provided in terms of this clause, AtPhoto shall not be liable for any defects in goods delivered or for any injury, damage or loss whatsoever resulting directly or  indirectly from such defects or from any work done in connection therewith and its liability under this clause, shall be in lieu and to the exclusion of the liability under any warranties and conditions whether express, implied or statutory and whether written or verbal.
